Hi,
IF he turned out to be gay in my opinion. But, never seems like he is. Or, take Haku or Sai from Naruto. Heck, Sai eventually even gets a girlfriend, so that ruins the hope I had with that... and with Haku, we get nothing but hints. Then we have Griffith from Berserk who's... well, I don't even know with him. But certainly nothing makes it clear if he IS into men that way or not.
I know there are plenty of yaoi and shounen-ai out there with feminine androgynous gay male characters. But I'm not really into that type of anime. I love when there's action, fighting, and fantastical elements included. And plenty of shounen animes have gay characters in them, and plenty of them have feminine androgynous male characters... so, by proxy, shouldn't those two things ever go hand-in-hand? At least ONE character like that should be out there, and I find it really strange how impossible it seems to be.
I don't know, what are your own thoughts about all this? Have I missed something, or do I have a point?
